Job Description:

Job Purpose:
To achieve the assigned branch banking sales target by generating deposits and cross selling of other commercial branch banking products

Principal accountabilities:

  • Service Quality: PBA’s are accountable for ensuring proper service quality implementation.
    Service quality measure are: Acknowledging the customer, Greeting the customer, Introducing yourself to the customer, Asking the customer for his or her name, Using the name of customer while communication, Providing the right information to the customer
  • Sales Management: Achieving the assigned branch banking liability target by following the Sales Management Process. Sales management process consists of: Morning Huddle, Live pipeline of potential customers and New to the bank customer
  • Attrition Management: To manage any attrition by continuous follow ups with customers on a timely basis and live pipelines of existing customers
  • Marketing/ Cross Sell: Cross selling of all other consumer banking products (e.g. Credit Cards, Auto Loans, Banc assurance, Business, and Personal Loans.)
  • Risk Management & Compliance: Responding day to day compliance issues ensuring proper KYC review and AML monitoring

Skills Required:

Knowledge and Skills: Graduate from a Recognized University; basic financial concepts understanding; comprehensive knowledge of commercial banking principles, practices & procedures. Proper understanding of all banking products

Experience Profile: At least 1-2 Years in Banking Industry

Behavioral Competencies: Excellent inter-personal, communications, and people management skills.

The Marketing Manager will be focused on leading our burgeoning STRATEGIC marketing efforts on the TACTICAL AND
FUNCTIONAL levels. Sinking it in the organization on compliance, monitoring and control. Improving internal and external
Communications and its dissemination for internal and external customers as well as spending Most of the time on the
Field for strengthening Tameer’s community presence, loyalty quality and brand dominance in branches, radius and
Community partners / routers / stakeholders.

Responsibilities :

Community Marketing:

  • Create and manage plans to generate new business referrals from current Tameer microfinance Customer’s partners / branches / community.
  • Initiate and execute tactical and functional plans to cross-sell additional products and services to current
  • Develop and execute plans to inspire loyalty and create strong brand equity among customers and Community
  • Be the owner of all tactical and functional Below the Line (BTL) and Above the Line (ATL) activity including Direct Marketing (DM) and Viral Outreach

Internal communications:
Public Relations:

  • Collaborate with multiple departments to evaluate and improve internal communications and marketing needs for Tameer employees/department heads.
  • Plan, research and develop well-written communications across multiple media, including newsletters, Intranet and announcements
  • Manage outside agency support as needed

Market research and data analysis:

  • Create a learning plan to drive deeper understanding of our clients
  • Seek compelling insights through quantitative analysis of in-house data.
  • Manage media relationships
  • Organize and successfully run community out-reach programs for Profit and Community Welfare (3BL)

Skills Requirement

  • The successful candidate must posses strong field project management skills,
  • Ability to generate and execute breakthrough creative ideas, and excellent collaboration skills to ensure, that the Brand and marketing agenda is up-held successfully in all departments, outlets, people and processes.
  • The candidate should possess strong communication, managerial and interpersonal skills.
  • Wide range of hands on as well as management experience across the entire Marketing mix.
  • Incumbent with insight on research, product and concept development, advertising, online, direct marketing, PR and Event management

Experience:

MBA in MKT along with at least 5 years of experience in any Reputable Organization FMCG Experience & exposure of BTL Activities on large scale in microfinance level will be preferred.

Anti Money Laundering Manager

Position: Anti Money Laundering Manager

Major Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist HOC in preparing and implementing AML Regulatory Compliance Program.
  • Implementing AML/KYC software to generate reports and trend analysis regarding unusual/suspicious transactions
  • Identifying and assessing the ML risks associated with the Bank’s Business activities including branch and branchless banking
  • Liaising with relevant internal and external bodies, including SBP inspection teams, external auditors and internal auditors for AML/KYC issues.
  • Keeping Track of and ensuring timely submission of data/information/returns regarding AML/KYC to regulators and other agencies and verify on test basis their accuracy, reporting exceptions to HOC

a) Education:

  • Ideally MBA Finance/MIS
  • Professional Certification such as CIA/CISA/CAMS would be preferred

b) Experience:

  • 3-4 years Branch Banking Operations Experience with at least another 2 years of banking experience in Audit or Compliance department.

c) Required Skills:

  • Good Understanding of AML/KYC, Compliance Policies and Procedures
  • Proficiency in dealing with financial and non-financial MIS.
  • Knowledge of all relevant banking rules and regulations.
  • Analytical skills
  • Good Communication Skills with Influencing Skills
  • Team Player

Head of Operation – Afghanistan

A leading Bank in Afghanistan must have experience in International recognized bank on both branch banking operation as well as back office operation as Head of Operation.

Job Summary:
The position allows the successful candidate to be part of the Management Team of bank and plays a major role in the Bank’s continued development.
The Operations Manager/ HEAD of Operation is responsible for managing back office operations and administration departments to support other parts of the bank.

The responsibilities are:
1. Oversee back office operations (both IT and manual systems) to ensure they deliver the committed service quality.
2. Liaise with front office managers to understand their needs for back office support and agree the required support.
3. Determine whether operations are best to be automated or performed manually.
4. Recommend and design processes for manual operations.
5. Oversee Administration functions.
6. Ensure operating procedures are developed and implemented for all administrative processes.
7. Ensure that the purchasing function runs smoothly.
8. Develop organization structure as required to serve the bank.
9. Recruit and maintain suitably skilled direct reports in discussion with HR.
10. Enhance the performance management, training and development process for back-office departments.
11. Set performance targets for direct reports, monitor performance and provide feedback for further development.
12. Responsible for relationship management with DAB, Ministries, Tax authorities and suppliers of the Bank.
13. Responsible for the day to day functioning of the operational units, the procedures and control.
14. Other duties as required by the job.

Qualification:
It is expected that candidates will have professional qualifications in finance/ banking/ business administration and will have had at least 10 years experience in an international/regional commercial bank with at least 5 years experience in an executive position in a commercial bank.

Position: Manager Treasury & Trading

Organizational Context:
- Member of the Executive/Management Board of the Bank
- Manager Treasury & Trading Department

Reports to:
General Manager

Key Reportees:
- Money Market Dealer
- Foreign Exchange Dealer
- Securities Dealer
- Asset Trader
- Derivatives Dealer

Overall Job Purpose:
1. To assist in developing an Asset and Liabilities strategy and mid-term planning to support the commercial goals of the Bank.
2. Responsible for executing the Asset and Liabilities strategy, based on the mid-term planning.
3. Responsible for relationship management in the interbank market.
4. Responsible for the day to day functioning of the Treasury and Trading department, the procedures and control.

Key responsibilities:
1. Responsible for balance management and treasury risk management within the Bank.
2. Controlling and managing the Bank liquidity (in line with bank policy and regulatory requirements) and ensuring that the daily position is managed.
3. Managing the interest rate and maturity mismatch (in accordance with strategic objectives) of the Bank.
4. Managing the money market trading activities within interest rate and counterparty limits.
5. Managing the spot and forward foreign exchange exposure of the Bank. Managing the foreign exchange trading activities within foreign exchange and counterparty limits.
6. Fostering overall Bank relationship with external domestic financial institutions, clients and other potential funding sources.
Marketing of Treasury related products to clients and financial institutions. Managing of Corporate deposit taking.
7. Leading negotiations with the DAB in the area’s foreign exchange operations, liquidity and asset reserve requirements.
8. Preparations of credit analyses and credit committee applications for domestic financial institutions.
9. Managing departmental staff and resources, implementation of Bank treasury policies, ensuring adequate control and procedures.
10. Maintaining and updating all procedures related to the activities of the dealers and analysts, including drafting new procedures and securing approval by operations management.
11. Issues rules and guidelines concerning administrative procedures related to the dealers and analysts.

Additional Comments:
Depending on the maturity of the market, Treasury can develop other products. Like CP, equities, binds and tax driven products.
Conducting business developments negotiations and structuring capital markets deals.
Maintains relationship with brokers and other counter parties.
Monitoring and managing the Bank’s positions in the various markets.
